Questions about crowd levels

I question just how often touringplans updates. I see that the most recent crowd blog is dated July 25th of 08'. As a new subscriber to touringplans.com, needless to say, I am a bit disappointed to see no new updates in over 4 months...

YES I KNOW THAT. I'd have to be absolutely clueless not to know that. As I said in my other post, we're just WONDERING if it will be a little less crowded. If it is, great. If not, whatever....things go as planned.

my guess... bookings for this year are already exceeding 100%. bookings for the second week of January are down year over year.

The past couple of trips, we have wanted to try Le Cellier. At about 8 weeks out, I get our days planned & call for ADRs. Since we normally do Epcot for 2 full days & 1 half day, I have 5 possible meals. I have always struck out, until this past Tuesday when I called for our January 09 trip, Got an ADR on my 1st try. I'm thinking (hoping!) it may be slower than normal. Also got all the other ADRs at my 1st preferred time.

I'm with you...we knew what/when/why we were booking and are fully prepared. Just wondering that's all . I know you have to pay far out, yet this economic "thing " didn't just come about so I don't know how many families decided to pull the plug/postpone for a cheaper time...may have been cheaper to pay a penalty and get the 4/3 deal? We have totally prepared and booked a ton of Character meals (back in June) so DS & DD will for sure get to see their fav friends Christmas at WDW...WOOHOO

WE will go over MLk next year and we got every ADR we wanted at the times we wanted. I am hoping that is a good sign that it won't be super duper packed. But who knows. I haven't been to Disney world in 7 years!
