I am interested in the college Program but have a few questions:

1.)If you are married are you allowed to stay in the dorms or do you have to live off campus? If you must live off campus where can I find cheaper housing but not in a bad neighborhood?

2.)Is there any kind of job position for someone in animation? I draw and create ceramics and am only really interested in working in animation or production

Thanks for all the help in advance. I am sure I will have other questions.

you must stay in the dorms....your spouse does not come with you unless he is also doing the program (they apartments are all single sex however no males living with the females).

the 1st college program you do will not involve directly working in production or animation though you might consider working in costuming or the parks. However, this 1st experience with the program allows you to do one on ones with individuals who work in those fields, it also allows for you to make a lot of valuable connections. After completing the internship you can return for an advanced internship where you can work in those fields directly that interest you.

Hope this helps email with any other questions:cool1:

If you are married, and are both accepted into the program, it's no problem to get a one bedroom apartment together in Disney. My wife and I were put into Chatham Square, dunno if they put any in Vista Way or not.

I am married and just came off my Fall 2006 CP. I can give you a definitive rule on this since I am coming fresh off my CP:

1) You CAN be married and do the CP.
2) You can only use the "married housing" if BOTH of you are on the CP.
3) If you are living off property (like I did), you'll need to fax them a copy of your marriage license to prove why you are living away from the CP housing.

And to answer your final question, no, there are no animation positions at the CP level. CP's are strictly front-of-the-line grunt workers. Professional Interns do the more specific positions.
