Questions about children's DP choices

I know that this has probably been addressed a bazillion times but I'm suddenly debating the dining plan for our family of four, three adults and one child by Disney standards. Is there a place where I can find the childrens choices now? also, are there childrens appetizers on the TS restaurants?

There are menus here and on Intercot; the most currently updated ones I've seen are on AllEars. Yes, kids' TS meals include an appetizer, often soup or salad. If there are no kids' appetizers on the menu, I believe they are allowed to order an adult appetizer, but I'm not positive about that, and maybe somebody can confirm it.

There are a very few restaurants left where there is no specific child appetizer list, and in those few restaurants children can indeed choose from the adult appetizers. By the time you visit, the remaining restaurants like that may have added child appetizers, so don't count on that.
