Questions about cabins, etc

We are planning a last minute trip to Fort Wilderness cabins and I was wondering what the best loop is especially since I heard the main pool is closed. Like to fins a loop by bustop with good roads for bike around cabin area, and wildlife viewing (deer) would be a plus. Where are the activities for kids held (games, crafts, etc)? Is there high speed wireless internet in the cabins? Do you need to bring BBQ utensils? Thanks

There isnt a whole lot of difference in the cabin loops...they all look pretty much the same. If you will be using the busses...Id request getting near the front of a loop..bus stops are in the front of the loops...the cabins have a separate pool from the main pool that is closed...its somewhat smaller than the main pool, but not actually small by any means. you CAN bring BBQ utensils..but they have a pretty decent selection of eating and cooking utensils. Not really neccessary to bring your own. Wildlife viewing is hit or miss no matter where you are staying..Ive seen more deer at the main roadsides than I have in the loops...keep an eye out for armadillos, tons of rabbits all over the place, wild turkeys are often spotted, you may even be lucky enouh to spot a beaver from the marina in the mornings!! The cabins do supply high speed internet..but there is a $10/24hr charge for it. Their are PLENTY of planned activities for the kiddos....but you may find they are having MORE fun with the UNPLANNED activities....the FORT is a world of exploration and adventure for a kid (and adults!!)

Just a quick addendum... while there is high speed internet available as PP mentioned, it is not wireless/WiFi.
