Questions about BVW and ADR's

We have 2 BWV studios booked for Thanksgiving holiday, one for us and one for friends who we are treating for their Christmas present.

First, does BWV have connecting studios? I think I've read somewhere that they don't, but I wanted to verify if that is the case.

Secondly, we are not sure what to do about making ADR's. The group will consist of my wife, myself and probably our son, who may or may not bring a friend, in 1 studio and friends and possibly their son, who also may or may not bring a friend. Therefore, at this point, we are not sure how many people will be in our party, but we need to make ADR's starting tomorrow. We will have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people. Should we make ADR's for 8 people? Is there a problem with making dinner ressies for 8 and showing up with less people? If we make ADR's for 8 and later determine a lesser will be coming, should we call and and change the number on the reservation?

No DVC resorts have connecting studios. Some studios at BWV connect to 1 bedrooms.

If I were you I'd make your ADRs as if both kids were bringing friends. It's easier to subtract from a reservation than add on (especially at that time of year).

That's what I thought I read, thanks for verifying. We'll try and get rooms close together. It would have been nice to get connecting rooms, but since that's not possible it's one less thing to worry about.

I think that's what we're going to do. Thanks for the advice. I just didn't want to book for too many people. We'll book for 8 and adjust as soon as we settle on who all's going.
