Questions about buying AP's online?

Hi!
Before I moved from Southern California, I would always just go to the parks to get my AP. Now that I don't live close to the parks anymore, I'm going to buy my AP online. Now, I have never done this before so I am a little skeptical.

When you buy the AP online, I assume you get a print out. With that print out can you enter the parks & get a hard copy AP at the Photo Pass Center or do you have to go to the ticket booths that are in front of the park to get a hard copy before you enter? :confused3

May be a stupid question, but I just want to make sure :goodvibes

Thank you!

When we bought our AP's online with the payment plan , we submitted the payment info and within 30 minutes go our print out vouchers that we will be taking to the park to redeem for the AP's here in a few days.

We got a monthly payment contract in addition to PDF vouchers with individual bar codes for each AP. I hope this helps some.

You can take the voucher to the turnstiles on your first visit, but at some point during that day you will need to pick up the hard pass at a ticket both

And note, there is no AP processing center anymore (I think this was a bad move), you know get the hard AP from the ticket booths and you have a PP photographer take your photo for you. I don't think DD and I will need new photos, our APs expired in April so I think they will reuse the same photos.

So it probably would be better for me if I went to get my AP hard copy before I enter the parks for that day?

Thank you all for your help :goodvibes

That's probably what I'll do. Go to the ticket booths first and just get it done. :)

It'll depend on when you arrive, and if you are in a hurry to get in the parks. If you are entering first thing the in morning, I'd go by the ticket booth later in the day when the lines aren't as long. That way you can get right in without another stop. If I arrived mid day, I'd probably hit the ticket booth first.
