Questions About Booking

This is my first time planning a trip to Disney. My friends and I are going. I have a few questions:

1. We're going in January. If I book a resort now, and pay it in full, and a discount comes out, will Disney just reimburse me the difference? I know I'd have to call, but I didn't know what would happen if I've already paid everything.

2. Is it possible to pay with multiple credit cards? If so, would they all have to be in my name, since I'm the one on the reservation? I ask because it would be easier if my friends could all pay their own portions, instead of sending me checks and me paying for everything.

3.When do they usually release discounts for January, and when is the best time to book our resort? Should I have already done that?

I booked with Dreams Unlimited and when a new deal came out she said "let's see if we can save you some money!" turns out the new special didn't make things cheaper for us BUT obviously if it did we would have been reimbursed (and I had paid in full)

Our reservation in under my name but we paid with two credit cards (one being my mothers). Of course - this was via Dreams Unlimited so I just had to log on to their site twice to pay with the two separate cards. I'm not sure what would happen if you booked directly with Disney but I couldn't see if being a problem.

3.When do they usually release discounts for January, and when is the best time to book our resort? Should I have already done that?

I'm not sure when January Deals are released, but I"m sure someone does. I would book it now and changes can be made later!

ago a package deal for the general public was announced in November. Last year deals were announced in December. This link has a list of discounts by effective date with release dates.
