I have a reservation for BOG pre park opening this weekend at 7:30. My questions are; what time will I be able to enter the park for this reservation, do each of my familiy members need to order a full breakfast or can just some of us order and share, what time can you leave the restaurant to walk around the park, and is it ever possible to ride any rides or use a fast pass kiosk before actual park opening.

Thanks!

If you google "disboard.com prepark BOG" you'll have pages of these questions :)

I would estimate around 7 am, but have not experienced it. Hopefully chimes in.

Every family member needs to be on the reservation, but currently they could just order a drink and share an entree.

You won't be able to walk around the park from what I've read; most areas are roped off with a CM. You should be able to get into a line for 7DMT whenever you're done, or wait around for "rope drop" crowds to approach, when they should release you for rides.

There is a large thread of people riding 7DMT before the park opens, but it's not guaranteed/doesn't always happen, and it sounds like that is the only ride.

(There is a new "Morning Magic" upcharge event in the works that will include prepark access to rides; price and dates currently unknown.)

I would also say around 7am.

No, not everyone needs to order a meal. You can definitely share, and don't forget about the pastries!

7am probably. We went for a 7:35 reservation, and were let in at 7. However, the restaurant did not open until 7:30. There was a long one of people ahead of us, and then there is a wait to order at the kiosks.

We did not use a kiosk, and instead had a CM that entered in our order. I'm not sure if she would have objected to us ordering kids meals or just drinks. You could probably do it at a kiosk without questions.

By the way the eggs were terrible IMO. My husband and I had scrambled egg whites, and my daughter also had the kids eggs. Thumbs down all around. The sausage was also bad. The pastries were decent, so we packed some in a ziplock to eat later

I also wanted to add... We did not want to rush, so by the time we were done eating and snapping photos, it was 8:00. I think you have to be out by 7:50 to hit 7DMT, Anna and Elsa or PPF ahead of the RD crowd.

I would not recommend doing BOG if your soul purpose is to get in line early for a ride/attraction before the rope drop crowd. We had 7:30 ressies twice this week. They had the entrance to the castle roped off and let us past at 7:20 or 7:25. We then had to wait for the restaurant to open at 7:30. We got our food pretty quickly but still didn't get done until just past 8:00.

We are a family of 3 and shared 2 kids meals. No questions asked. They even asked if we wanted a second platter of pastries.

It was nice not rushing down Main St with the masses.

Thanks for the information! I didn't realize that the restaurant didn't open until 7:30. I think we still do it though, for the nice walk up main street and into fantasy land before park open. My kids will love seeing this restaurant first thing and the food looks pretty decent. We have preordered our food.
