Are the rooms with the day beds the same size as those without (and what, if anything, do the ones without day beds have instead)?

When was the last time the rooms were refurbed?

My understanding is that the rooms at the BC can be different sizes, with and without daybeds. I haven't been in a room with a daybed, so I am not sure if there is anything missing in those.

Maybe the desk/chair are missing- here is a picture of a room with a daybed.

For the rooms without daybeds, you can request a rollaway cot, which is free of charge, but from what I have read, some rooms will fit the cots better than others.

I think the rooms were refurbed in either 2008 or early 2009.
