Questions about AIRTRAN

WHat's WN? It was the leg room, not width I was referring to. I usually sit in a row with my 2 children so have plenty of room width wise.

WN is the correct code for Southwest Airlines (not SWA). I don't find a one inch difference in legroom too significant; I'm not tall.

You can always get baggage information by checking your airline's website:

http://www.airtran.com/policies/carry-on_checked.aspx

One suggestion is to put the DME tags on your carry on if you plan to check it. Those checked bags go under the plane just like regular luggage and will be sent to WDW through the luggage service. If you chose not to put on the tags, you will have to go to baggage claim.

Yes! We were bummed we hadn't thought to do that when we flew Air Tran in March. And I thought about bringing the extra tags along, and then I didn't.:guilty:

Another thing about Air Tran is that they always try to leave early. So don't wander around the airport, waiting until the last minute to get to the gate. They will board and leave early.:)
