ok this will be my first time to disney with my own family(meaning i am now married with my own children) we are traveling with another family.....i have some quick ??'s about adrs....we have some young children so i am thinking that we should only plan an adr once a day....meaning the other two meals just wing it?? does that sound about right or am i crazy for doing that?? also how many character dining does everyone do?? any places that i should not miss with 4 young kids?

That sounds about right to me..................occasionally I'll do a character meal for my dd, and then her dad and I will go out to a nice restaurant alone that night. She's only 2, so she enjoys Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's, but there are so many of them with different characters. Here's a list of where certain character are at those meals:

I would say 1 a day is good, that's what we do when we go! The character meals I hear are not to miss are Chef Mickeys (in the Contemporary) and Crystal Palace seems to be a favorite (we will hit both of these on our Nov. trip!). I think by having 1 meal a day planned you'll have more flexibility. With kids I would either do ADRs for breakfast or dinner, that's just me though I don't want to rush to a lunch ressie. :)
