questioning next vacation...

Hi everyone!
I haven't been on the boards in a couple of months since we weren't going to go to WDW in '09 for our vacation. Since we have been several years in a row with not much time for anything else. Yet, some how I just feel drawn back...maybe becasue we started discussing the idea of going ahead and doing WDW after all.
We had been kicking the idea around about maybe heading to AL Gulf Shores, Gatlinburg TN, Hershey PA, and so on...but here I sit at the pc going straight to the disboards thinking...what if!
Anyway...Just saying hi again to you all after my lil break. I am sure I will be posting alot again.

So, did I miss anything major while I was away? lol

we have one...but were not looking to go until Summer of 09'...But it wont take much to sway me...I am already leaning anyway. lol...

I know how you feel about vacation planning for WDW. I planned a few for WDW and then palnned a trip to TX to visit my niece and family. We did Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and it was such a hassle compared to WDW. That's why I love disney!

Well I have my friend who happens to also be a TA checking out some info for me for Gulf Shores AL. I think I would like to go there still for a couple of days and maybe visit some of my friends that now live in Bama...but I still want WDW for my vacation. "Dang, that just came out like a spolied brat!" Didn't mean it that way. I work hard year round to have my WDW vacations.
Anyway, I have been IMing with my husband and I think were doing WDW next summer... ! After looking at the disboards, and the Disney web site I just couldn't handle it. I already e-mailed my AAA TA (not the same friend) and gave her the dates and all our info. I think we will be celebrating my husbands birthday there, and hoping since were booking nearly 10 months out I can get a Pirate room at CBR. We have never stayed there, so it will be a new experience for all of us...and my DS8 (will be 9 when we go) will love the pirate theme...I think we all will!!!

LOL...it took me less than a day of being back on the disboards and I am ready to book...lol
Now...where to eat...what I need to buy...I love it all!!!

I can semi relate. I feel obligated to visit other places but WDW is where my heart lies. It's funny really... I was all about world travel for awhile. In 2006 I went to London on spring break and lived in the Greek Islands for the summer. We went to NYC the following spring break.... Now that we took our first trip as a couple to WDW that's all we want to do anymore.
