1st timer on thread as well as 1st timer @ WDW. The family has poured over many restaraunts and have come to these choices for dinner. Please confirm that we have done the right thing. There will be 3 adults, 1 teen, 1 pre-teen and 1 - 5 yr old.

Choices - Boma's, Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickey's character breakfast, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, O'hana's and Whispering Canyon.

Less than 4 weeks out :hourglass .

It depends on what kind of food you are used to, the quality etc, but for our family Ohana and Whispering Canyon for dinner, just mediocre. Now, if you want to visit those two resorts for dinner how about Kona Cafe and Artist Point, both excellent choices and you will walk away completely satisfied with your experience.

You have made some great dining choices!
I loved WCC, great food and great fun, it was one of our best meals this past trip! The all you can eat skillet was delicous. I also enjoy CM, although I'm not that crazy about the food it is very festive and fun, definitely a must do especially for a first timer, Cape May Cafe is also one of my favorite places, great food.
I can't wait to try 'Ohana myself!!, it sounds like a great place.
Have fun!! :goofy:

Great choices. I think you will find things at each of those that you like, even if the food isn't always exactly what you would have hoped for. The atmosphere adds a lot to a dining experience and I think these are great choices for your family.

Thanks for the replies. Another question or 2 or 3 ... Is it really necessary to make ADR's at these restaraunts? We have made them at Chef Mickey's & Hoop-Dee-Doo; 10.40 at CM's and 5:00 at the HDD should these times be ok ? Hate to ramble on, but what are good times to eat meals?

Thanks Again :)

It looks like you made some great choices for disney dining. I think you'll enjoy them all. It's absolutely necessary to have Hoop de Doo reservations, but it seems you've done that already :)

Personally, I would call and make reservations at the other restaurants as well. Most of the ones you've chosen are very popular, so you're better off with ADRs than without them.
