Why when I post does the little envelope beside my post have a black dot on it? I don't see it on anyone elses.

Also I tried to delete a post that I put on here (just a test) as not to use up too much of your space and it tells me I can't do that, I have always been able to before.

Your answers would be greatly appreciated.

The black dot indicates that you have participated in the thread, either by starting it or posting a reply to it.

Currently you can delete a reply that you've posted to a thread but you can't delete a thread, even if you posted it. As I recall that was available on the old boards but not here.
