I have rented points for part of my stay and am staying at a value resort the other nights. Trying out DVC before I buy

Can I buy my tickets and the My Way Dining Plan through the person I rented from? I can't buy the full amount from the value resort that I need due to the amount of time spending there. I would like a seven day pass and the seven day meal plan but am spending 4 nights at POP and 5 nights at OKW

No, members can't sell you tickets. You have to buy them yourself. And if you stay at a DVC resort on points, you cannot get the Dining Your Way added. You have to purchase a package from Disney to do that.

Even the members can't get the meal plan, you can only do it with a package. You should consider an AP or PAP and join the Disney Dining experience where you can get 20% off most meals. Since you will have to do the package for every person for the length of stay, you may just want to get if for the 4 days you're paying cash and eat yourself silly then eat lighter the last part of your trip.

If you booked your POP nights through disney or a travel agent you can buy your 7 day passes through them and add the meal plan for the number of nights at the POP- 4 in your case. If you didn't rent points and booked directly through disney you could have done it the way you wanted but DVC'ers are not offered a meal plan with stays right now.
