Hi,

I think this is the most appropriate place to post this, but if not, feel free to move it where it needs to be!!

My family and I are going to Disney in about a week. I was just sitting here reviewing our plans, and ran into what might be a problem. Our flight comes in at 10:40 am, and we plan on having our van make a grocery stop on the way to our resort. The problem is that we'll be buying perishables (milk, etc...) and we won't have a place to keep them until our room is ready. I know we can check our bags with the bellman, but what about the food??? Has anyone been in this situation, and if so what did you do? I was thinking that maybe even if our room isn't ready, they would let us put the groceries in there in the meantime.

We're staying at the Boardwalk Villas, if that helps!!

Thanks:D

Everytime we have stayed at a DVC resort and had perishables and the room wasn't ready, the bellhop would put our stuff in a refrigerator. we've had this happen many times at OKW, with no problem. Just explain your situation.

On one trip to BWV it was my mom's birthday and we needed to store a cake somewhere she couldn't see, so our refrigerator in the room was out of the question. I just went talk to bell services and they stored the cake no problem until the next morning. I did tip them when i picked it up and promised them a couple of peices of the cake.

Just be nice, and ask
