I am thinking of booking my room at POp for April 2005 this week. How does it work ?? I pay one night to hold it?? What happens when I get codes to decrease the amount?

Yes Dimoe, when you call and book, you can either use a credit card, or send a check for the first night. You have 2 weeks to get the check there, and when I booked for my SIL, the CM said they didn't have to pay the remaining balance until they arrived. When we do this though, we always send a check and get the room paid off! As soon as the codes come out for your time frame, you'll have to call and give them the code, they should apply it to your reservation, but you may have to change your room or hotel or time of travel. Disney from what I understand will only allow so many discounts to be used per resort. As long as you keep an eye out, you shouldn't have any problems getting it to apply to your ressie. I think the codes for late April will come out around X-mas, or the new year, sometime in there. Good luck!
