Does anyone know approximately how long it would take to take the bus from Aminal Kingdom to Fort Wilderness? Thinking of doing the Hoopty Doo Revue on our AK day since the park closes at 5pm. The show starts at 6:30.

They will tell you to arrive at the podium about 20-30 mins prior to the show, so you should plan on arriving by 6:00. If it were me? I would take the bus to the CR. Then, you can take the boat from the CR over to FtW. The boat drops you off at the bottom of the path that takes you right to HDDR. Very easy.
Leave at park closing and that should get you to HDDR in plenty of time.
You can also take the bus to WL and head down to the boat dock and take the boat over to FtW from there as well.

I agree about taking the bus to the Contemporary and then the boat to Fort Wilderness. We once drove to FW and relied on the internal bus system to get around and it was not that good. A lot of waiting around at the end of the show. That is, I believe, how it would go for you if you took the resort bus to FW.
