Question

Yes, you can... meet your favorite characters at character meals.

No, you can't... or at least shouldn't, try to get autographs and photos as they are walking by. The characters will come to your table. If you have missed a character and have to leave, you can ask you waiter to see if they can assist you.

Yes you can sell your used up tickets on ebay after your trip.

No you can't ask for Jerome to be moved to another cell

YES YOU CAN drink around the world

NO YOU CAN'T get a CM from your resort to wheel you back to your room on a luggage cart;)

Yes you can see TONS of characters in the World showcase @ Epcot

No you can't meet Mulan (the character) in Japan. I asked where she was located in the pavillion & the CM is smiled, nodded & politely said, "Mulan is in China.":rolleyes1 Oops! (wonder how many times that has happened!)

Morally, maybe not but you actually can. I (honestly) accidentally put my inlaws tickets into fast pass machine, I was the ticket carrier. I was surprised when they spat out fast passes.

Edited to add, they were actually at Seaworld at the time.

Not true any longer. For some period of time apparently this was working for some. All reports are -- that is now fixed and it won't do that anymore unless they entered the park that morning and put their ticket through the turnstile.

YES, You Can:

-----------------------------------------------------------

NO, You Can't:

Stow your mother-in-law with the luggage in the bus undercarriage for the trip. ;)

If thats the case she's not coming then.

Yes most can use FP beyond the time listed

No, I cant use FP beyond (and one time at Soarin it was 15 freakin minutes late!) time stamp -

Pretty much Soarin' has always been that way. Posted here many times that people used expired fast passes (from the same day only) and rarely if ever have not been allowed to ride...except for Soarin'. However, we did get into Soarin' 10 minutes past our FP time once when our ADR took longer than we thought, but they weren't terribly busy---it was only a 30 minute wait on standby---so that may be why they let us in. Never tried it again.

Ah sorry, I didn't realise it had been fixed. Good job I made use of my error during that Saturday visit :rolleyes1

:rotfl: That sounds like something I would have done.

Do you mean TS and not CS? Several times on our last trip I was looking for something my daughter would eat on a CS kids menu and the *CM* suggested that I order her something off the regular menu if she'd prefer that, and then they happily used a DDP CS credit for each of our meals, including hers. I wouldn't have done it if it hadn't been suggested by the CM, honestly, but when they were the ones to bring it up I thought it was within the guidelines.

And just so I'm being helpful in some way (I hope):

Yes you can...
Walk from the Contemporary to the MK.
Walk from Epcot to Hollywood Studios and vice/versa.

No you can't...
Walk from Animal Kingdom Lodge/Villas to Animal Kingdom.
(Pretty sure I remembered that right...correct me if wrong of course.)

If a kids menu is available at the CS or TS location and you paid for the under 9 dining plan then yes you must order from the kids menu. It's clearly stated in the Dining Plan rules.

1-Yes, you can...
Upgrade a "used up" ticket.

No, you can't...
Keep adding days to go past 10 days to keep your ticket costs down.

1- as long as you do your upgrade within the 14 days of 1st use.

No you can't ... after day 14. This being in reference to upgrading used up ticket part, not the adding to 10 day tickets.

1- as long as you do your upgrade withing the 14 days of 1st use.

No you can't ... after day 14.

No you can't (referencing adding more than 10 ticket days).... period. You can't have more than 10 days on the ticket, period, nothing to do with the 14 day upgrade window.

At that point, doesn't it just become an annual pass?

I was referring to the first part of the persons post in the do & don't part. My answer had nothing to do with the second part about the more than 10 days which is also a don't. I didn't do a part 2 cause I wasn't answering the second half.

Yes you can:

Order & eat a child size CS meal if you are an adult (OOP, I don't know the rules of the DDP).

No you can't:

Expect your child to smile all the time & not have the expression "Oh no, not again!" after the 600th picture. :rolleyes1

You are absolutely correct, but since it was already mentioned, I took it "as a covered known."

sorry to barge in...but I leave tomorrow...one of the tips I had cut and pasted to my list was that the COUNTER service credits weren't separated into child and adult (they are all pooled together was my understanding) and therefore your child can get adult meals at the COUNTER service spots...is this not true? I have seen it at several places including Disney's advice panel:idea:

YES YOU CAN purchase a refillable mug at your resort and drink from it until you burst.

NO YOU CAN'T refill that mug at CS restaurants at the parks or at other resorts, nor can you keep on bringing it back for the next 25 years for refills.

The people working the cash registers/kiosks at the counter service place are supposed to look at your card and only let you order meals for the number of adults or children listed on the front of the card. So, some places will let you and some won't. At least, that's been our experience.
