If you were given the opportunity to photograph President-elect Obama in the Oval Office on his first day as President and could say one thing to him, what would it be?
Of course you should because it is not a Nikon (which is better) and you will need all the help with the image anyway. Since it is a P&S I would not put on a DVD because copying a jpg will degrade the image over time with copying. I guess I cannot help you with the watermark question. Did you drop it in the bathtub or something?
RTFM! (read the fine manual) Twice, three times, more, until it is second nature.
The finest tool in the world (usually a Canon) is no good if we do not know how to use it. Along with that learning comes the familiarity to know what control to tweak and where to quickly find it. Fumbling through menus is a great way to lose the shot.

Well, the US economy is in the tank, and its international reputation in an even worse state.
He will be inheriting a shambles in Iraq, a just but under-resourced war in Afghanistan, and chaos in the Middle East.
He has to stop the US national debt growing at its current frightening rate, and deal with the fact that China and Russia are both growing rapidly commercially and economically. He has to force the people of the USA to accept that the USA is no longer the sole superpower, and that its global influence is on the wane.
I think I'd say "Good luck" - he's going to need it.

PS And as a Briton, I want to add two things:
1. I truly do wish him good luck; I think the world needs him to do a good job. His predecessor made even those of us who love the USA cringe, and
2. I'd also wish the same to anyone taking over the Prime Minister's role in the UK - we have many of the same problems as you guys do!
