If I pay for the room in full and then a code comes out, will I be able to get the difference refunded?

I believe that you would get a room credit. I'm not sure if you'd be able to request an actual refund where they mailed you back (or credited your credit card) the difference, but hopefully someone else will come along who can comment on that. I know that we had a room credit once, and we were happy with that arrangement since we knew we'd be charging on our room card.
