I have a question for all you graphics people. :)

I have pictures that I want to use for my avatar. Unfortunately, by the time I get them down to fit the 3.9 file size requirement, you can't see what the pictures are. Is there anyway to lower the file size without making it too much smaller than 100 x 100?

Depends on the picture you're using, really...

Post it and maybe I can help :)

There are lots of pictures. There isn't any one in particular. As I was saying, the only way I know how to make the file size smaller is to make the picture physically smaller. I don't want to make it so small that you can't really see it.

I'd keep it at the size you want it at, then keep saving it as a JPEG in a new window of like Paint.

The quality might go down, but DIS has such an annoying avatar limit :headache:

Yes they do.

Thanks. I'll have to see if that works.
