What does #### mean anyway? And how are people typing it in vmk?

It is actually ### and is a placeholder for a word typed that is not in the dictionary. If you get a red word in your chat box it means the word is not recognized by the dictionary. If you hit enter two times fast after that it might put the ### in the chat bubble.

Some of us that have been around a while are used to hitting fast double enters after every message typed. At one point ANY characters' title could be said and the way to force it to say it was to fast double enter. There are still some problems that a fast double enter solves. For example I can not say Coriander even if she is in the same room without the fast double enter.

LOL! I thought that was it! No, really thanks for the info. I had a girl in my room that kept asking me if I knew ###. I had no idea what she meant. Now I know! That's what this board needs is a translation thread so we newbies can figure out the language!

Yup. I guessed on the ## thing. Had to ask someone what WOOT meant. I figured it was an enthusiastic exclaimation, but didn't know if it stood for something specific.

2. you can't say any numbers at all in VMK so there is a "basic translation"
