Question visiting park after hotel night

I'm sorry for being new and already making my own topic. However, I already sent my question to Universal, but it's been a week and they still haven't replied.

1) I want to book a hotel night at the Holiday Inn on May 22 through the Universal booking system. On May 23 we will be visiting the park (just 1 day sadly enough). However, when I'm booking the hotel night through Universal, it says May 22 for my park-to-park ticket and my early admission. Is this just an 'indication', of will these tickets only be valid on May 22?


2) How does the early admission system work? Is it with your hotel key? Because we plan on checking out on May 23, early in the morning, so we won't have our hotel key anymore...

I don't think there is an actual date on the ticket---it can be used whenever. Early admission will be with your park ticket. There is a special code printed on it that indicates that you are allowed early admission.
