I am absolutely livid.
I recieved an e-mail from a local hospital foundation announcing some fundraising activities prior to Christmas.
I am not uspet about the content of the e-mail. What has me irritated is the fact that they didn't "blind-copy" all the recipients, so now, my e-mail address is on this e-mail with all other ~150 recipients.
I will be sending this person an e-mail back. I am under the assumption that now that my e-mail address is on these other peoples computers that now if these people get some sort of nasty virus, that now I am suseptible to getting that virus, and that now all these people have my e-mail address, which ultimately means I could be getting more junk/spam e-mails, especially if one of these people owns a business, or has their own political message or propaganda they want to send out.
Is what I've said above true? or is there anything else I need to be concerned about?
Thanks for your help!
