Question Regarding Wilderness Lodge & Free Dining

Hi All,
I'm looking for some information: I am currently booked for September 14-20 at POFQ, and had been hoping/planning for free dining. Now it looks like that will happen, and I am hoping to use the extra money I save to upgrade to the Wilderness Lodge (where we have never stayed). So here are my questions:

WL vs. POFQ - worth the extra $700? (My thinking is probably yes)

Does WL frequently sell out?

Any idea of the number of rooms WL typically offers for the free dining promotion? Will I need to call that first morning (May 9th) at 7:00 AM in order to make this change?

As you maybe can tell, I am sweating the details! Thanks for any info you can provide!

Since both resorts would get the TS plan, then whether or not you spend the extra money is up to you. WL is a gorgeous resort.

I would guess WL would have more rooms available for FD than POFQ only because POFQ seems to get less discounts in general. But that would only be a guess, no better or worse than anyone's guess.

We've stayed at both and enjoyed both very much.

As Wood Nymph, it could come down to the number of discounts that PORQ gets (though we didn't have an issue gettting it there back in 2011).

If I could get it, I personally would save the 700 and stay at POFQ, but you can't go wrong with either.
