Question regarding the dinning plan and be our guest

I did a pre-order for my upcoming reservation at be our guest, my question is if you order more than what is covered by the dinning plan can you still use it. For example if you order an appetizer and dessert as well as an entre?

Yes, you will just have to pay for what the plan does not cover. So it will cover the entree and you will pay for the app and dessert. You can use a snack credit for the dessert for sure, I'm not 100% on if they will accept a snack credit for the appetizer as well. Assuming you are going for lunch and not dinner.

If you preordered online then you will go to a different kiosk when you arrive into the building. They will confirm with you what you ordered and deduct whatever applies from your dining plan to the order. Any items that are leftover and are not covered by snack credits then have to be paid for prior to entering the dining room with your hockey puck that you put on the table to tell the staff where you are sitting. You can pay out of pocket there or choose to bill it to your room if you have that set up with your on-property hotel.

Think you can use snack credit for the french onion soup as last pre-order menu had it showing in the dessert section for easy ordering/bundling.

My experiences with BOG pre-order have been mixed and at least half the time I have had to stand in line and redo my order at the kiosk anyway. So you could probably check with the CM there.

BOG stopped allowing the French onion soup as a snack credit several months ago.

Yes its not a problem.
You will go to a cash register to confirm and pay for your order so at that time they will ask if you are on the dining plan and what credits you would like to use. You could pay out of pocket for the soup and use a snack credit for a cupcake if you'd like.
