Question Regarding the Beach and Yacht Club

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this side if the DIS. I'm getting married on July 1st at Disney's Yacht Club Gazebo.

I want to try and get a room at either the Yacht Club, Beach Club or Boardwalk.....how many DVC points would it be for the night of June 30th?

Depends on the class of room. Assuming that for just one night you'd like a studio (like a typical resort room), since it is a weeknight it would be:

BCV: 14 points
BWV: 11 points for a standard view, 14 for a boardwalk/preferred view

The Yacht Club is not part of the DVC resorts. You CAN stay there on points, however you would need to pay a $95 fee, and the points are enormous:

Standard view: 41
Water or Pool View: 49
Regatta Club: 68

1 bedroom villas have full living room and kitchen and master bedroom with whirlpool tub and king sized bed

BCV and BWV Preferred View 30 points

BWV Standard View 24 points

2 bedroom BCV 40 pts, same for BWV Preferred (32 for Standard at BWV)
A 2 bedroom villa has what I mentioned above for 1 bedroom villa and an additional bedroom that can sleep up to 4 At BWV second bedroom will have pull-out sofa that sleeps 2 in addition to bed that sleeps 2; BCV I believe some 2 bedroom units may have 2 beds in second bedroom - no doubt someone here will post and tell you for certain the second bedroom scenario at BCV and post back with any further questions we can help you with.

There are 1BR rooms which are the size of two normal room. One side has a full kitchen + living room, the other side is the bedroom with king size bed, jacuzzi-tub (bit enough for two, if you are feeling very friendly) and a separate shower. They are very nice. For June 30th, it would be 30 points at either BCV, or a BWV preferred view.

Now the bad news. Both resorts book up very quickly. BWV standard tends to fill up first, then BCV, then BWV preferred. There's a chance you are already too late.

Good luck - both with the room hunt and that other thing.
