Question regarding RV covers

I'm hoping that some of ya'll might be able to share some of your wisdom with us! We have a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion (which has full body paint) that we would really like to get out of the weather but covered storage is not an option at this time. Have been considering buying a custom cover. Has anyone else gone this route and have you had any problems with it? The reason I mention the full body paint is because we had a problem with the paint on the front end of the coach after leaving the vinyl bra/bug shield on too long. I know the covers are made of "breathable" material and shouldn't be an issue but we want to be especially cautious after having the other issue. Any input is much appreciated.
