I am thinking about booking a solo disney cruise for December 2004. Can anyone tell me if room service is included in the cost for the cruise? Thanks!

Yes, room service is included in the cost of the cruise. It is important to remember though that you should definitely tip the individual from room service. Enjoy your cruise!

Hi,

I went on a 7 day cruise last May and took full advatage of room service. I brought along some $1 bills for convenient tipping. I had coffee, tea and some fruit delivered every morning - enjoyed it on the verandah. Life is good. Some people advise ordering sandwiches the night before a day at port and packing them in ziplocks. Service was prompt - I tipped $2 - $3.

Just be aware that there are only limited items available on the room service menu...

For instance, you won't be able to order a hot breakfast or the dinner entrees from the dining room (unless you're in a suite.)

But fruit, cookies, sandwiches, continental breakfast and beverages are among the things you can order. Some beverages will be an extra charge, just as they are at other locations on the ship. (Sodas, beers, etc.)
