Question regarding Payment for DDP

My wife and I want to add the DDP for our upcoming December trip to WDW.

My question is this:

Can we use two different debit/credit cards to pay for the dining plan?

The reason why I ask is this, my company provides us with a "bonus" reloadable mastercard. Right now, I have $500.00 on that reloadable card in bonus money. What I would like to do is take the 500 from that card and pay towards the dining plan, then pay for the rest of it (around a 100) with my debit card.

Will Disney let me do this?

Yes, you will be adding the dining plan to your package reservation. You can make multiple payments on package reservations using different methods of payments. I have the Disney Visa and often pay for a portion of my package with the Disney Rewards card that I get using my points. Then the remainder of my balance is paid using either Disney gift cards I've purchased from a local grocery store to earn discounts on gas and/or my Disney Visa.

You'd laugh if you saw my payment history on my vacation package. The people I cat sit for have paid me in disney gift cards twice, I've earned disney gift cards from survey sites, I've used my visa, I've used my OTHER visa... and when we pay it off we'll probably put the remaining balance on the Discover card (and then pay that off immediately.)

Disney is more than happy to take your money in any form you want to give it to them in.

is it a package reservation or a DVC reservation? The rules for when to pay are different - and depending on how soon your December trip is, it might make a difference. but I don't think the rules on HOW to pay are different. they should take both methods.

Yup! My page looked crazy for one of our trips. I paid the deposit with one card adn then I paid it off with separate $100 giftcards.

It's a package reservation.

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that I could add the DDP up to 3 days in advance of leaving?

Is that correct?

72 hours prior to arrival (yes,that's 3 days, but Disney uses "72 hours"). After that, you can't make any changes to your package, including adding a dining plan.
