question regarding package payments

has anyone ever not paid for the package on the due date -

ideally i would like to wait to get my tax refund to pay the balance but do not think it will arrive before the 45 day before arrival due date

i know that i could put it on a credit card and then pay when i get the refund but i have done this in the past and usually the card does not get paid off entirely at one shot -

suggestions please, btw irs says that the payment is being processed and should be received before 4/5

I had a financial problem in the past and was unable to pay before my due date. I was about 4 days late. I called Disney and they said that the ressies where no longer valid and they would have to redo the whole thing. I was lucky enough to get the room again, but at a higher cost. So I would say CHARGE IT!!! and pay you card off with your tax return.

YIKES! I was wondering about that too - fortunately I got a great Room Only PIN - woohoo - and we are paying for room only (deposit is one night's stay then pay balance upon arrival) and then I'm going to get tickets separately but no later than 2 or so weeks before - THat 45 day in advance deadline is a doozie! (for us anyway!) Gives me a little more time to save up!

Last year I booked a package with a TA and was having trouble and couldn't pay at the 45 days. My TA was able to hold my res an extra 2 weeks so it was no problem for me.
