After replying to the thread about who is going home in May. I decided I had better finish making our ressies. I called today to finish our vacation planning as far as accommodations are concerned.

We are owners at OKW and SSR. We have only stayed at OKW and we are staying @ SSR next month. I wanted to stay at a couple of other resorts just to see what we think. I wasn't sure what to request at the other resorts so any help would be appeciated!

May 14th - Flying all day and will arrive at resort by 6:00 pm. Just our family of 3. We have AP's so we can catch late fireworks, etc. Booked a studio @ BWV for the 1 night. I requested Standard View, Non-smoking and non-handicap. I figure for the one night a standard view would be okay (should I have requested boardwalk view?) Are you able to see illuminations from all boardwalk view villas? Are there any floors or specific requests that I should have made?

May 15th through 20th - GV @ OKW (big family gathering)

May 21st - Just our family of 3 again. Booked studio @ BCV. I requested non-smoking and non-handicap. Are there any other requests I should have made? I figure after the family gathering we might want to relax by the pool. Maybe check out the fireworks, eat at Cape May or try the Kitchen Sink desert. Can you request an Epcot view? Can you see the fireworks from any of the villas?

Are there any dedicated studios at BWV or BCV?

I picked BWV and BCV because it will be during the flower and garden show, walking distance to Epcot and different resorts to try out!

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

good choices - yes there are dedicated studios for both BCV and BWV - I have stayed in them.

yes you can see the higher fireworks - ask for a high floor.

at BCV you are right next to Epcot - so much better change - again ask for on the Epcot side - the highest floor possible.

there is the service road - but it didn't bother me - others have say it did....

Thanks! As you can see from my original post we were going to be homeless for 1 night. I had to call MS back and change the night of the 21st to the night of the 20th. I was able to request non-smoking, dedicated, Epcot view and high floor.

I could have gotten boardwalk view at BWV, but I decided we would be tired from traveling and would not get to enjoy the room to the fullest. So, I kept the SV studio and added dedicated.

I like to put in reqests. Most of the time they get pretty close to making at least one or two requests happen. Non-smoking is always top priority.

BWV - you can see the fireworks from some of the standard views. Request top floor, across from the bus stop. For 1 night, I wouldn't bother with the extra points for preferred or boardwalk view. Was boardwalk view available?
