question regarding banking points?????

We just became owners in October, and we have a June use year. We have 200 points @ OKW.........we now have 85 points left over from the current use year. We are still debating whether we are going to use those points this year....someone @ MS told me that we don't have to bank them to recieve 100% credit until February, since we have less than 50% of our total points to bank. Is this accurate? The person i spoke to previously @ MS didn't mention that option at all......would love to hear if anyone has accurate info on this.....thanks much!

I believe you have until February but not for the reason given. It is just dates that are a certain time out from your use year.

With a June use year, you have until November 30, 2002 to bank up to 100% of your points (200 pts). You have until February 28, 2003 to bank up to 50% of your points (max of 100) and until March 31, 2003 to bank up to 25% of your total points (50 pts).

These percentages are cumulative, so if you had already banked 100 points by Nov. 30, you would NOT be able to bank any more later.

You could also bank your 85 points now and if you decide to make a reservation for date prior to June 1- you could still borrow from your 2003 points.
