Question regarding banked points

If you bank points, do you have to wait to use them until a certain time? I mean, let's say we banked our points for this year. (Aug use year) Can we book a trip for AFTER next Aug and use those banked points? I hope you understand what I'm asking!!

Once you bank your points they become that UY's point so useing them is the same as that years.

You can book at anytime with-in the 11 month(home resort) that the points will be available at time of stay.

If Aug use year and you bank those into 07's points then you can book now for Aug 07 until nov 07(as this is the 11 months) with those points being used.

Thanks, I actually understood that. I find the whole point thing the most confusing. But I think I make it more confusing then it needs to be.
