Question: Refillable Mugs on split stay with Dining Plan at both resorts

Quick question: We are doing a split stay in October. We are using the DDP for each stay. Can we do this: Before leaving Resort A, activate the mugs for Resort B stay and gift them to another family at Resort A? We would just do this at the second resort but it is Fort Wilderness cabins so we thought it might be easier at Art of Animation to find a family quickly at the main building to gift them to.

I guess the first question is making sure that even with a dining plan that the resort mugs are good for 14 days and not just until the last day of the reservation.

The second question is that if they are good for 14 days, can we activate it at a resort other than the one our dining plan is linked to?

I don't have firsthand knowledge for your first question, but reports have said they're 14 days no matter what.

You can pick up and activate mugs at any resort, not just the one you're staying in.

I imagine this could get complicated. With multiple dining plans, you must use all credits from the first plan (every credit including snacks) before you can use any credits from the second plan. The mug is just another type of credit on the plan. If you have any credits remaining from the first plan, I imagine you won’t be able to pick up the kids from the second plan.
