Question re: viewing the DISBoards

Hi,

We have 2 computers in our house. The good computer and the other computer.

Anytime I am on the "other" computer, I cannot view the DISBoards. It is not blocked or anything of the sort. It times out any time it tries to load.

Does anyone know why this happens? Or how to change it? It happens with both IE and Firefox.

I cant imagine why that would be. Have you tried any other Vbulletin forums?

Hmmm.... interesting thought. I'll test it out later. (I've taken back the "good" computer for the time being. Can't seem to figure out what's causing it to "Timeout" or simply not display at all on that machine.

Yeah, thought of that too. Nope.

I think I have a simular problem to yours and I can't figured it out either. Pages load ok for me but I get timed out all the time. I have learned if I am typing any reply or PM to left click copy with my mouse just in case. It's flustrating to no end and most times I dont even bother trying to sign in on that computer any more. Somedays I sign in click PM and by the time the page starts to load I am logged off.

Other VMK fan sites I dont not have this problem with

I had a weird problem that started yesterday. I usually type "dis" in the address bar then jump down to the forum I want from the browser's history that pops up. Now, when I do that I just get a white screen. But, if I type in "disboards.com" and go to the top of the forum, then navigate down to this board then I don't have a problem.

Weird huh? I don't know but it might do the same thing if you have a favorite that goes directly into this board. You could try going to the top of the forum and see if it works for you too.

Still looking for any input on this.

The firewall is simply the Windows firewall so that should not be an issue.

As for other vbulletin message boards, I pulled 1 up without a problem.

Any other thoughts?
