Question re upgrade to seasonal AP

If I want to take advantage of the 3 extra months on APs, I need to purchase by end of March. I’d been planning on buying tickets through undercover and upgrading at park but I don’t think that’ll work? Can’t upgrade those online/on the phone? And the AP clock starts at use, not at purchase?

You cannot upgrade third party tickets to an AP over the phone - I tried to do that for the previous 3 months free deal & it was a no go.
