Question re transport

Hi there! I've got a question re transport if anyone can help.

If you booked a horse-drawn carriage are there any restrictions on where it takes you from your wedding ceremony venue to your reception ie if we got married at SBP and then went to the GF would we be able to use a carriage? Does it use the main roads? If we can't the other alternative is to use the limo but we wanted to use this for our guests.

I am certain all the "show" transportation like Cinderella's coach and the horse-drawn carriage will not actually take you on main roads. They just pick you up at the nearest hotel lobby and take you to SBP and back. Some of the main roads at WDW are practically highways, they are so busy and move so fast. I doubt they would let a carriage putter along one of them...

Hi, that's what I thought. Can't see the poor horses competing with an SUV on the main roads somehow!

After looking at the options we've got our heart set on a vintage car.

i'm using the rolls and i'm so excited about it! when you have it at sbp, it goes in front of the yacht/beach so that your guests awaiting your arrival at sbp will watch you drive around crescent lake. at first that sounded a little over the top to me, but the more i got used to the idea, the more i liked it (and it's less walking for me in the dirt in my white dress...)!

That sounds really good! We will be staying at the Boardwalk so won't be arriving in it to SBP, it is to get us to the GF for photos and lunch and back to the Boardwalk. We are going to walk down to SBP with my parents - not the traditional sort of wedding as you can probably tell!

Just out of interest, how do the guest see it around cresent lake? I can't quite picture where the car would go.
