I guess that's what you would call it anyways. We are going to DLR in August and our oldest son's friend was planning on coming along. We already bought our tickets, but now something has come up and he isn't able to go.

We have another trip planned for the end of November. My question is, do you think we would be able to trade his 2 day hopper, for two 1 day hoppers to use for our November trip? TIA

No 2 1-days cost more than 1 2-day, but you can take the extra ticket to guest services and they may be able to refund your money to a gift card which you can use towards the purchase of the 1 day tickets. I know others have had a member of their party back out at the last minute and were successful in doing this.

I think you probably won't be able to downgrade. I tried "downgrading" from a 1 day park hopper to a socal discounted 2 day 1 park per day (2 day 1 park per day was 99, 1 day park hopper was 109 I think), but I had to shell out the extra money for a 2 day park hopper instead because Disney wouldn't let me do that. Of course, you can always ask to be sure. Good luck!
