Hi everyone. We are leaving on Friday to go to SSR. Has anyone used the sofa beds in the Studios? How are they? My DD and I have the bed but my DH and DS have the couch. Also, do they have extra pillows in the studios or do you have to request them?
Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

Well I'm not sure about the sofa beds at SSR but after 8 nights at CSR and then 5 nights at Vero Beach this past summer we spent 1 night at BCV and I slept on the sofa bed there and it was the most comfortable bed I had the whole trip!

I'm hoping the beds at SSR are as comfortable if not more so.

We didn't have to request extra pillows at BCV either.

Have a great trip,
Lori

I have heard the sofa beds at SSR are WONDERFULLY comfortable!!! Rumors are, they will be replacing the ones at the older DVC's with ones just like SSR.

I spent about 8 nights on hte sofa at SSR this summer. While it is not a bed, it was still fine to sleep on. I had not complaints. There are extra pillows too, I think my wife found them in the closet.

Although I stayed in a 2-bedroom in August, my son slept on the sofa bed in our living room.

He said it was great. Better than the sofa bed he usually sleeps on at BCV.

If memory serves me correctly, the pillows and blankets are in the closet. :wave2:

We stayed in a 1 bed in May. My son (7) used the sofa bed and siad it was good, he appeared to have slept well, but I think all kids do after a day at Disney.

The extra pillows/blankets are stored in the chest/coffee table in the living room.

We are also leaving on Friday for SSR...(2 bedroom) Does anyone know if there is a hair dryer in each bathroom??

Thanks,
Carol

We stayed in a studio three weeks ago at SSR. The hair dryer is on the wall near the bathroom sink.

We stayed in a dedicated 2 bedroom a couple of weeks ago. There were hair dryers in both bathrooms. My BIL slept on the sofa bed and had no trouble sleeping. The mattress is firm and thick. We found pillows and blankets in the coffee table. It's a beautiful place! Wish I was leaving soon for another visit!:earsgirl:

I found the sofa bed at SSR to be incredibly comfortable. I liked it more than the bed and had my son take the bed. We were in a 2 bedroom and it was so nice. With my sister and her daughter in the other bedroom and my son in the master, I had the living area with the sofa bed and kitchen to myself. I especially liked being in this area because the living area is where the sliding glass doors are. Everyone else went to sleep while I enjoyed the view of the fireworks and pool late at night.

Our kids slept on one in May. They were very comfortable and slept without issue. Of course we were there the very first nights......

ps, sending you a PM

Just back from SSR last Saturday and I must say the pull out couch was unbelievably comfortable and so was the bed for that matter. Nice fluffy pillows too. I don't usually care for soft beds but after this trip I'm thinking of a new mattress. The pull out comes out differently than a traditional pull out but it is wonderful and there is a mattess pad and sheets right in the coffee table. It was also a great place for my 5 and 3 year old to sleep because the arms of the couch were like bed gates and I used the large bottom cushions on each side just in case of a "roll off" which didn't happen!!
