Hi,

We're considering purchasing our SeaWorld tickets through SOG (Shades of Green) but there is no info on the SOG website about the second day free deal. If you purchase SeaWorld tickets through other ticket brokers (such as Ticketmania) you get a second day free, though it must be used within 7 days of first use. Does anyone know if all single day SeaWorld tickets include the free second day, or only those tickets purchased through certain vendors?

Thanks,

Hey Local_girl,

I don't know when you are planning on going to SeaWorld, but the Busch people (who own SeaWorld/Busch Gardens/Sesame Place) are offering free admission to their parks for active duty military and up to 4 family members STARTING MEMORIAL DAY.
It's called Operation Salute and you can check it out on the Busch Gardens website.

If you are not active duty....as for the second day free thing, we didn't even know we could do that until we were leaving the park and the lady at the gate told us about it. We just went to the ticket window, she marked our tickets for us, and we were good to go for a second day.

Hope this helps.

It is actually for reservists too:D . Says "Active reserves" meaning those that drill, did not see "activated reserves" only in the article.

Thank you for the info! Actually DH is retired military so we don't qualify for the free admission (darn! :D ), but hopefully someone else will benefit from the info about Operation Salute. Perhaps I should check with SeaWorld directly about whether or not a ticket purchased from Shades of Green would qualify for a free second day...we are trying to decide between one day at Universal or one day at SeaWorld...and if we could get the second day free at the latter, we could enjoy maybe a couple of hours there on another day.

I don't know the answer for certain but I did read in another post that a SOG ticket does qualify for the second day free offer. They poster said she did not even know it until the person at the admissions gate offered it.

seaworlds website is showing a fun card. You pay full price for a one day ticket and get seaworld for a year free. I don't know if this is what you want. www.seaworld.com when you get to this web site click tickets

That's a great deal but it is actually only for six months since it says it expires on 12/31/03.
