Question RE: Panoramic 12x12 pages

Greetings,
I purchased Frances Meyer panoramic 12x12 page protectors figuring I could use them for my disney album. Once I opened the package, I realized they all open the same way to the right. Does anyone know if they have any that open to the left as well? I was thinking they would open out to the right and left to see a 4 page spread. (I was hoping to do be able to to do my park Icon pictures in the 4 page spread and I can't seem to figure out how it will work. I can see 3 pages easily.... unless the one page is unfolded upside down, to make 4 pages.... Oh i don't know...am I being silly?

I hope someone can help me.

Julianna can you post a pic of the cover of the package and the page protectors? I just looked at the Michael's website and they show it opened on both sides of the book but it's not a great picture.

The picture they have of the panoramic page protectors is the same one I have. On the back of the package it shows the layout as four pages open on either side of the book. It looks like one is unfolded from underneith and the other opens like a book. Hard to explain. I guess that is the only way for it to work. I was just hoping to have pages that opened from the middle and out to the left and right. I may have to play with it. But, I will post a couple of pictures later this evening of what I have.

if you trim the right side papers to a little less than 12" will it fold back the other way?

I've never seen those so this might be a stupid answer but could you flip it upside down and have a bottom-loading one instead of a top-loading one?

Thank you for all your suggestions. My DH asked me why I was taking pictures of my page protectors and I told him that I was looking for advice on the DIS on how they work so I can have a 4 page spread. So, he looked at one.

DH says, "why can't you just fold the plastic back on itself so it opens the way you want?"

Why does he have to be so smart?

So yes, BernardandMissBianca, It seems that I should be able to do just as you suggested as well.

So, because the plastic is thin in the middle I should be able to take my heating tool and fold the middles the other way so I have crisp left and right opening pages.

My biggest concern with them (I probably won't buy them again) is that it is a VERY tight fit for one piece of paper to get in the pocket. I am worried I won't get 2 pages with my triples mats and pics in each pocket.

I'm glad you got the answer you were looking for. Tight fit wouldn't be good for me either, I like bulky pages. But I guess if you don't over use them in the book, just one or two you should be fine.
