The lunch menu says that it is finished with a "roasted garlic demi glace." Is this the same thing as the veal demi glace offered (as an add-on) on the dinner menu? Veal makes me somewhat :crazy2: , so I'd like to know if I should order my filet without the glace... Thanks!

I do not know if it is the same as the veal glace. I did have the roasted garlic demi glace once and if I order this steak again I'll get it without the glace. I just did not care for the glace, the steak was great however.

Demi is traditionally made with roasted veal bones. I think it is yummy, but you can always ask for none or on the side.

It's a different sauce! You can order the filet without the sauce or ask for it on the side. You may be able to get the maple BBQ sauce instead if you ask nicely ;)

And it needs it. I've gotten this steak twice, and both times it (and the replacement I requested) was dry and gristly.
