Question re: FP+ for new attractions

Okay, assuming an opening date of May 1, 2016 for Frozen Ever After, and Earth Day for Rivers of Light - how soon will you be able to book FP+ for these (if there is FP+ for ROL)? Will booking only be allowed on opening day, or as soon as they have a firm opening date? How hard will it be to even get a FP+ for these? Will it basically just be on-site guests that are booking at the 60-day mark?

Generally fastpasses are not able to be booked ahead of an attraction's actual opening. Too much chance of the attraction not opening on the target date.

There is no hard and fast rule. Let's face it. Not that many attractions have opened since FP+ rolled out.

But what Dan says makes absolute sense.
