If I get tickets for the first showing of Fantasmic & don't stand in line early to claim my seat, but instead show up right before show time, what can I expect? I hate the idea of standing in line at 6:00 p.m. to wait until they open the doors to claim our seat. It's just my 7 year old daughter and myself, so it would be difficult to stand in line for that long. Thank you!

We did that in March. We were near the last to check it and we got 4 seats together in the third row. It was ok, as we stood to see any parts we missed when sitting. Not horrible (but definitely not the prime seats). You are only allowed to stand in the third row, so I think that makes it better than the second row.

You do run the risk of not sitting together if you wait until the last minute.

I would think (and I may be wrong), that they would not separate a parent from a seven year old. It's just 2 of them.

I would hope not, but they do say that seat choice is first come, first served. If the only 2 seats left are apart, then you might be at the mercy of the kindness of other guests.

I wish they would allocate them on a first come first serve basis at the time you make the reservation.
It kind of takes away somewhat from the point of booking this if you stand in line for an hour or more to secure the best seats.
Personally I would like the back row so the kids can stand if they want, but ideally seats 1-4 and obviously we would want them all together.
I would not consider it a premium experience if we ended up being separated.

I've always gotten in line around 7:00 and had a good time talking with those waiting in line with me. For me, it's worth it.

We got in line last week at about 7:15 (possibly a bit later, the lineup at City Hall to get the tickets was massive!) & there was about 30 people in front of us. I can't say how many of those people were together because as soon as they started allocating seats we split into 2 lines (1 for each show). We ended up in the 2nd row centre-ish & had a great view however I DID have a single empty seat next to me. The wait went by very quickly. I'd personally shoot for earlier next time.

The thing is you choose a specific seat. I waited in line, picked a specific seat, left for awhile until they opened up and came back. It's not like they could easily ask someone to switch seats who waited in line and specifically chose something else. If traveling with a child and there is a need to sit together, I definitely wouldn't wait until the last minute.

I always show early and am usually within the first 10 people in line. They go first come first served with seating- meaning if you show up right before it starts you run the risk of getting a seat in the back. I've always been seated in the front :)

Hi,
Can you tell me how this works?
You buys tickets for seats at Fantasmic?
How much are they?
Does it include anything else? Drinks? Desserts?

Thanks

Can anyone suggest which row or seat numbers to try to get. There will be five of us ages 12 to 50. I am planning on lining up at least an hour early maybe more but not sure what some good seats would be?

There was only 2 of us, but we were lucky enough to get seats 1 and 2 in the front row- they were pretty awesome as they ended up being in the center of the show itself even though they were on the end of the seating.

We should definitely be allowed to make our seat choices when we make the reservations. Disney should provide better accommodations for guests who pay a premium for this experience. Our first time we got seats in front but we waited an hour to get them. The next year we said we would walk up before the show and see what we got. Well we got second row behind some very tall people in hats. It was disappointing. If you can't get first row, it is better to go for third row. But, choosing when you pay would be best!!

I do not think there is a risk of this. It is not like the seats are like movie theater seats which are fixed into the ground. They are just folding chairs. They can bring more chairs out and/or move them around to make sure you are with your party.

In all the years I have been on this forum I have never heard of a party being split up involuntarily to see F!
