question re: Disney Gift cards and flights

We get to book our Disney trip today!! My bonus came thru, so we can officially book our trip.

I have moved some of the money into savings in order to have the money set aside for flights when Jet Blue announces their December rates.

My question is...if I buy the flight thru the Disney website vs a site like Orbitz can I use Disney gift cards to pay for it? I'm buying up gift cards from Target in order to save some money on the trip. I just didn't know if I can use them to pay Disney for the flight or not.

PS....on a random note I priced flights from Providence and Boston...and on Delta the Boston flights were TWICE as expensive as the flights from Providence. No brainer where we will fly out from!

Buy your tickets directly from the airline. No, they won't take your Disney gift cards for payment.

Agree with above. On a side note, I have always been able to find better flight prices on my own than through Disney.
