Do they normally take the % off before taxes?
I was waiting to book the AOA suites but now with the 35% off villas I may be booking AKV if I can convince DH!!!!! I really want BLT but he has no desire to ever go there :(

We are only staying two nights so AKV would be 781 plus taxes if I did it right??

Its BEFORE taxes. Which is confusing because disneys website only gives you the total when you are pricing.

When I did the math on mine, it was after taxes. WL for 3 nights is $1235 before taxes so the 25% off would be $308.75. When I called, I was told I was getting $347.46 off which is 25% off the 1389 total w/taxes.

Which makes sense since the taxes are a percent of the room price :)

Yes, either way you look at it, you're taxed on the room total so I guess you could say that the % off is before taxes, but then the taxes would be less because the total is less :)

Disney does not even have the authority to discount tax rates, the state controls that. (per a CM, I just called back for another reason anyways so I asked) It is before. like op said, if you rate goes down so will the tax
