Question re: airplane guidelines for luggage

I know that you can only take a ziploc bag with 3oz. or smaller shampoo, lotion, etc. in your carry on bag. What about your checked baggage? Can you put larger size bottles in there?

absolutely in your checked luggage. There is a site that lists all the items you are allowed. Maybe someone can post the link. I brought only small items i would need that day in carry on (3oz size) and full bottles of lotion, shampoo etc in suitcase.

I don't think I will need anything for the first day other than chapstick and sunscreen which I have small bottles of, so everything else will go into the baggage check.
