Question re AAA

I booked two rooms using DH's AAA number to do so for our upcoming visit to WDW with our adult children - the confirmation came back with his name on one room and mine on the other - which is ok, but I don't have AAA "coverage". Would I need to become a member before we check in, or will his membership cover both rooms?

TIA:cool1:

Thank you Teacup, but I actually booked myself through CRO - oddly, the price including tax was lower than what the AAA office was quoting.

I'm a little confused by your question, but in my case, last summer I booked 3 rooms using my AAA card. One for my family, one for my parents and one for my sister. They were in each individual couple/families name, but linked together on the reservation. I did have to show my AAA card when checking in, but there was no problem. BTW, it was all paid for before we arrived, so if you're not pre-paying, I don't know how it works.

Pat fan, that might be the info I am looking for. While we were not asked to prepay (I wonder why you had to?), we were required to pay a deposit of one room night's rate plus taxes x 2 rooms, with the balance due on check in.

I would call CRO again and ask them. You used to be able to book several rooms at an AP discount but they now require an AP holder in each room for the discount. I don't know if they mad that change with AAA also.

PatFan must have had a package. You need to pay the balance of a package 45 days before the trip.

You've booked a room only and you pay the balance at check in.

I am not having to much fun planning our next trip.:rotfl: Our first trip to the wonderful world of disney was planned by my father who paid for the trip:lovestruc. This time we are all paying for our trip. I have AAA, disney card. I really would like to save as much money as possible but there are so many options. I have seen threads talking about the AP but am confused about exactly what that is?????:confused3. I have also read about the DVC?????:confused3. My sister and I are planning to take a Disney trip, of some sort, together every other year what would be benificial for us????:confused3. Any help for a confused mickey fan???

Ap is an annual pass, not sure of prices or perks since I don't have one.DVC is disney vacation club.It is Disneys version of a time share. This I am still learning about because I finally convinced my Dh to buy into it.:goodvibes
